Is it safe to sell tickets on Ticket Exchange?

Yes, it is. The ticket will be sent to the buyer only after payment.

Which are the sale commissions on Ticket Exchange?

Selling tickets is free of charge. There will be a commission only when tickets are sold. Service cost is 5% of the price (VAT included) and it is used to cover all maintenance costs of the site and advertisements costs to allow tickets to be sold quickly.

The payment of the service cost will be made by receiving 95% of the price of the retail price (ticket price minus 5% of service cost; ex: if the ticket price is 50 euro, the seller will be paid 47,50 euro). The paid price can be visible in the section “MANAGE LISTING” within the menu “MY LISTING”.

 

Can I sell any type of Tickets, also paper tickets on Ticket Exchange?

On Ticket Exchange, you can sell tickets in a PDF format, for any kind of event (concerts, parties, festivals, fairs and so on), by uploading the electronic ticket. Only the original file can be uploaded, the one received by the agency or any ticket supplier. Images, screenshots or photos of the tickets will not be accepted as they cannot guarantee the participation to the event.

Named tickets cannot be sold on Ticket Exchange as well as modifiable tickets like plane tickets, guest list tickets and staff tickets. The risk of not being able to take part in the event is quite high as it will be necessary to show an I.D card at the entrance.

Paper tickets cannot be sold on the site.

Can I sell more than one ticket on the same advertisement?

Yes, you can. You can upload as many ticket as you like on the same advertisement and they can be bought in bulk or separately.

What does “the file has not been checked and had to be approved by the administrator” mean?

It means that the ticket has not passed the automatic check and that an administrator must check the file himself before being posted on the site. This is done to reduce the risk of being cheated. In my “MY LISTING”, the advert will be marked as “TO BE CHECKED”; once It is approved it will be visible as “VALID” and can be sold.

 Will I be notified as soon as my ticket is sold?

If the ticket is sold, you will receive a mail confirming the sale. It is also advisable to check the spam section to see if the mail is among any. In any case, you can check the state in “MY LISTING” section.

If you have sold all the tickets in your advertisement, the advert will no longer be available. If you have some tickets left, the advert will be visible until all tickets are sold out.

Remember to eliminate the ticket in your possession.

What happens if a ticket remains unsold?

If no one buys your ticket within the date of the event, the advertisement will be automatically cancelled and the ticket will no longer be for sale.

In “MY LISTING” the advert will be visible as “EXPIRED”. Therefore, as Ticket Exchange is only an intermediary and does not buy the tickets to resell them, you will not get paid for the unsold ticket.

Can I sell the ticket for an event that has already started?

Of course you can. We suggest placing the ticket for sale at a lower price to facilitate the sale.  

Can I sell the tickets on other sites?

No, you cannot place the tickets on more than one site at the same time. If you decide to do so, please remove the ticket form Ticket Exchange.

 

Can I use an unsold ticket?

Of course, but, it is necessary to remove the sales advertisement as a buyer could buy it and not be able to attend the event

Can I resell a ticket bought on ticket Exchange?

 Yes.

Can I delete or modify the advertisement?

You can certainly delete your advertisement or modify it at any time, apart from the adverts regarding the tickets sold. Changes can be made on adverts for tickets still available and not on adverts of sold tickets. The same for adverts of tickets that have been reserved by buyers and are about to be paid for.

To modify an advert, it is necessary to enter the section “MANAGE LISTING” within the menu “MY LISTING”; click on “EDIT” or “CHANGE PRICE”, or “DELETE” to eliminate a ticket or the whole advert.

 

How long can the ticket remain reserved?

A ticket can be reserved for 15 minutes. If payment is not made within 15 minutes or something goes wrong, the reservation with will annulled and the ticket will be placed for sale again.

 

Can I create unavailable events on Ticket Exchange if I have a ticket for it?

Yes, you can create new events if they are not available on Ticket Exchange by inserting all the data. An administrator will check the info and once approved it will be posted on the site.

When will I receive the payment?

Payment will be sent within 2 working days from the event so that we can verify that the everything worked out well.

 

How will payment be made?

If you live in a SEPA area, payment will be made by bank transfer within 2 working days from our payment confirmation.

If you do not live in a SEPA area payment will be made through Paypal and you will receive it immediately

 

What is the seller’s feedback?

When you sell a ticket for an event and the buyer has attended it, he/she will leave a positive feedback. In this case, we will provide for the payment.

If the sold ticket was for any reason unusable, we will investigate to find out what went wrong. In the meantime, payment will be placed on hold until we have worked out the problem. If the seller receives three negative feedbacks, he/she will be banned from the site.

If the buyer doesn’t leave a feedback within 2 working days from the event, we will consider it a positive feedback and provide for payment.

Can I cancel the sale?

No, you can’t. Once payment has been made, sale cannot be undone or cancelled. All sales are outright transactions and cannot be annulled. If something goes wrong, please contact us as immediately.

 

Are there any foreign currency charges if payment is not made in euros?

Payment will be made by SEPA bank transfer in euro. The buyer’s bank might charge a commission if it is transferred to a foreign country whose currency is different than euro.
